We developed the standard for the therapeutic home.
Across four peer-reviewed publications, we formalized the Therapeutic Home Environment — a distinct category of chronic care defined by three pillars: biophilic design, indoor environmental quality, and intentional self-care spaces.
We call it THE Standard.
THE Standard enables optimization of the home environment to: (1) support autonomic, circadian, and emotional regulation, (2) reduce allostatic load and physiological insults from the environment, and (3) foster evidence-based self-care practices that can improve therapy outcomes. It is the foundation of our digital health platform, our assessment instruments, and the program we are running today.
