Your home may be part of your migraine self-care.
You've tracked triggers, adjusted your diet, protected your sleep — but the home itself, where light, sleep, and stress all live, is often ignored.
A small, selective founding cohort applying THE Standard — the Therapeutic Home Environment framework formalized across four peer-reviewed publications — in the homes of people living with migraine. We enroll a small number of founding participants at a time, by application. You spend most of your life at home. The light, the air, the sounds, the way each room is arranged — your nervous system is reading all of it, all day, whether you notice or not. Over twelve weeks, we'll work with you to adjust the home you already have so it works with your body instead of against it. We know what brought you here. If you live with migraine, you've likely tried more than you'd like to count. New medications. Symptom journals. Sleep routines. Specialists. Apps. Eliminations. Some of it helped. Most of it asked a lot of you. This program asks something different. Not more effort. Not more discipline. A different layer to work with. The layer is your home.
The program starts with the home you already have — no purchases, no remodel, no redesign required. THE Method is about how you use your space, not what you buy for it or how you rebuild it. We do suggest specific products when they're genuinely useful — each scored against the same evidence-informed framework — but our cohort recommendations are never affiliate-driven: we earn nothing from anything we suggest to you, and nothing is ever required to purchase. The program is designed to be valuable to you whether or not you buy or change a single thing.
You've tracked triggers, adjusted your diet, protected your sleep — but the home itself, where light, sleep, and stress all live, is often ignored.
The Healing at Home Method™ applies THE Standard — the Therapeutic Home Environment framework we developed across four peer-reviewed publications. It rests on three layers of your environment that your nervous system is responding to constantly, and that can be adjusted to support recovery rather than aggravate it.
The materials, plants, light, and views that signal safety to your nervous system. Most homes don't have much of this. The ones that do feel different to be in, and your body knows why.
Light, air, sound, temperature. The inputs your body processes every minute, whether you're paying attention or not. Small changes here often produce the biggest shifts.
The rooms and routines that make sleep, recovery, and stress regulation easier — instead of asking you to fight your environment to get them.
We score your home against THE Standard — our evidence-informed, peer-reviewed read on how light, air, sound, sleep, scent, and space affect your nervous system. Your baseline: a clear picture of how your home works for or against you today.
From that baseline, we build THE Map: your personalized 12-week path of small, prioritized changes — paced for your life, specific to your migraine pattern and the rooms you actually live in.
The Healing at Home Method™ is the program that walks you from one to the other — assessment, AI-supported guidance, group calls, and a Week-12 re-score to see what changed.
A structured assessment of your home — your sleep environment, light exposure, air quality, the rooms you spend the most time in, your daily routines, and the patterns of your migraines. We're not trying to overhaul your life. We're trying to understand what your body is already responding to.
From your assessment, we build THE Map — your personalized twelve-week path of small weekly changes, prioritized for your specific patterns and what's realistic for your life right now. It adapts to your home, your time, and your energy. Not the other way around.
Across the twelve weeks you're supported with scheduled group calls, AI-supported guidance, and weekly micro-actions. We review what's working, troubleshoot what isn't, and adjust as you go — you're not implementing it on your own. The program ends with a reassessment — your home, your routines, your symptoms — so we can see together what changed.
We're keeping the founding cohort small and selective — enrolling a small number of participants at a time, on a rolling basis, by application — because we want to do this well and learn deeply from each person we work with.
The Founding Cohort is $1,195 at the founding rate. That includes your assessment and baseline on THE Standard, THE Map — your personalized 12-week path, 12-week guided implementation with weekly micro-actions, AI-supported guidance, group calls, and tracking.
This is the first implementation of the Dayhouse Health Therapeutic Home Environment standard for migraine. Founding participants receive the founding rate because they help us learn which environmental recommendations are most useful, which home changes are easiest to put into practice, and how the program should evolve. Future cohorts will be offered at a higher rate.

Apply for a scholarship seatTHE Standard is an evidence-informed, peer-reviewed framework. The Healing at Home Method™ is not a medical device, not a prescription, and not a substitute for medical care.
You'll continue working with your existing physicians and medications throughout the program. We work alongside your medical care, not in place of it.
This is an educational program, and how much you put into practice is up to you. We don't promise specific outcomes.
If you live with migraine and you've started wondering whether the environment you're recovering in is helping or quietly making things harder — yes. This is for you.
It's not a substitute for medical care. If you're in an acute health crisis, please work with your medical team first. The work this program does is steady, not urgent.
No. The program is delivered virtually. Assessment and group calls are conducted by video. The environmental changes happen in your own home.
You keep your personalized plan and the changes you've implemented. Founding participants will also be the first to hear about ongoing support and future Dayhouse Health offerings.
Tracking is optional and self-reported. With your written consent, de-identified feedback from the founding cohort helps us improve the program and may inform future educational and research materials. We do not share personally identifying information with third parties.
You take care of yourself first. We adjust around it. The program is designed to be adaptive — if something isn't working for you in a given week, we change it.
