It rests on three layers of your environment that your nervous system is responding to constantly, and that can be adjusted to support recovery rather than aggravate it.

Biophilic design

The materials, plants, light, and views that signal safety to your nervous system. Most homes don't have much of this. The ones that do feel different to be in, and your body knows why.

Indoor environmental quality

Light, air, sound, temperature. The inputs your body processes every minute, whether you're paying attention or not. Small changes here often produce the biggest shifts.

Intentional self-care spaces

The rooms and routines that make sleep, recovery, and stress regulation easier — instead of asking you to fight your environment to get them.

How it works

    Step One
    We start by listening.

    A structured assessment of your home — your sleep environment, light exposure, air quality, the rooms you spend the most time in, your daily routines, and the patterns of your migraines. We're not trying to overhaul your life. We're trying to understand what your body is already responding to.

    Step Two
    Together, we build a plan.

    A one-hour strategy session, a personalized therapeutic home plan, and a twelve-week roadmap of small weekly changes — prioritized for your specific patterns and what's realistic for your life right now. The plan adapts to your home, your time, and your energy. Not the other way around.

    Step Three
    We're with you the whole time

    Six 30-minute consultations across the twelve weeks, twice a month. We review what's working, troubleshoot what isn't, and adjust as you go. You're not implementing a protocol on your own. You have someone to talk to. The program ends with a reassessment — your home, your routines, your symptoms — so we can see together what changed.

  • You'll start with a full assessment of your home.
  • You'll meet with us for a strategy session and receive a personalized Therapeutic Home Environment profile — with the science behind every recommendation we make.
  • You'll get a twelve-week roadmap of small weekly actions, paced for your life.
  • You'll have six 30-minute consultations with us across the program — twice a month — to check in, adjust, and troubleshoot.
  • At week twelve, we'll reassess together. Your home, your routines, your symptoms.

We're keeping this first cohort small — ten people — because we want to do it well, and because what we learn from you will shape everything we build next.

The full program is $2,000. That includes the assessment, the strategy session, the personalized plan, the twelve-week roadmap, and six implementation consultations.

This is also our calibration cohort. The data we gather from your homes, your routines, and your responses to the changes you make will inform the digital platform we're building next. You're not just receiving the program — you're helping us build the next version of it.

You'll continue working with your existing physicians and medications throughout the program. We work alongside your medical care, not in place of it.

Who is this for?

If you live with chronic migraine and you've started wondering whether the environment you're recovering in is helping or quietly making things harder — yes. This is for you.

Who is this not for?

This isn't designed for episodic migraine alone, and it's not a substitute for medical care. If you're in an acute health crisis, please work with your medical team first. The work this program does is steady, not urgent.

Do I need to be in a specific location?

No. The program is delivered virtually. Assessment and consultations are conducted by video. The environmental changes happen in your own home.

What happens after the 12 weeks?

You keep your personalized plan and the changes you've implemented. Participants will also have the option to continue with ongoing support and join the Dayhouse Health platform as it launches.

How is my data used?

Anonymized data from the founding cohort informs the development of the Dayhouse Health digital platform and may inform future research publications. We do not share personally identifying information with third parties.

What if I have a flare during the program?

You take care of yourself first. We adjust around it. The program is designed to be adaptive — if something isn't working for you in a given week, we change it.
